Ubu, King of Finance

Ubu, King of Finance is a stage production directed by Ramón Barea, a contemporary adaptation of Alfred Jarry’s classic that places the grotesque figure of Ubu within the world of economic and financial power. The play employs satire and dark humor to expose corruption, unchecked ambition and the mechanisms of power abuse in today’s society.

Leire Ormazabal takes part in this production as a performer, joining a collective work that blends social critique, exaggeration and physicality, exploring characters pushed to their limits through a direct and provocative stage language.
